What is ginger?

For several years, the ginger is consumed worldwide.   • The underground part, called rhizome, is knotted and composed of many roots. The rhizome, whose the pulp is yellow inside, is the stock plant and ensure its survival.
  • The aerial part is composed of leafs and a stem of around a height meter. The leafs are lanceolated and perfumed. The flowers are yellow with red lip. The fruits contain few black seeds.
